I will forever be shocked that Dirk and those boys beat the most cowardly team of all time.
I consider it the single greatest title in NBA history.

Ill never forget Kobe missing the game winner in Game 1 vs the Mavs that year then throwing in the towel the rest of the series and getting summarily broomed out the playoffs.

No. In fact it’s quite overrated.
Kobe was hurt, and the Lakers were broken down. Gasoft was putrid and gave up.
Miami imploded after dominating as favorites with LeBron quitting or getting locked up by ancient Kidd, Marion or midget car salesman JJ Barea.
