why do so many people hate nyc/knicks?

The Knicks have been a laughing stock for 12 years now. It's so easy to hate on them since they won't win shit.

The hate on the Yankees and Lakers is more to do with jealousy and bitterness.

Their fans are also a big part of it, although we'd all be arrogant if we were fans of them as well.

im a spurs fan so im used to organized play. non 1 on 1 bullshit. superstars who dont complain like little bitches. players who know how to set real screens and can rebound *cough* trashy amare.

#1 - thread was started by a Nets fan

#2 - First couple of pages, no Knicks fans are present aside from iDunk.

#3 - the more I read through it, iDunk was like the only Knicks fan throughout the first 10 pages taking a Heat upset as a lock.

#4 - I'd say a good 80-85% of that thread consisted of NON-Knicks fans opinions, some backing us up, others bashing us. Virtually all the Knicks fans that did post in the thread were just defending their team on why they had a chance in the Heat series.

Anyway, pick another thread, because you using that thread as an example to hate on Knicks fans is a fail.

This, people can bash Knicks fans for loving a team that's been poor for 10 of the last 12 years but most of the Bulls/Celts/HEAT/Lakers fans who don't live in the area jumped on the bandwagon at a time when that team was a favourite/contender.

Not many teams that have fans that would stick with them like Knicks fans do.

People who put all their energy into hating a team are assholes. Most here on ISH just hate other teams because of interactions with other obnoxious fans. There really isn't a valid reason to hate the Knicks.
