People are underestimating Woodson/Felton/chandler's amount of Dumbassness and it's negative effect on the Knicks.

When you roll out an actual direction (Phil/Fisher/Triangle) along with Carmelo/JR/Bargnani/Calderon, not a lot of teams have that- especially in the East. That's a group of players you can build around. And they already have 2 or 3 of those pieces. Phil will find the right 2 or 3 more.

You all that think Phil is there to sit on his ass and follow the masses with this idiotic mindset that "In 2015 or 2016 something's just going to come knock on our door" have some surprises coming. Phil might just be there to start winning now. And Phil knows you've got to go Get It. You know who can afford to have the mindset that think things will be handed to you? Rich peoples kids. If you have to Go Get It for yourself you know things don't fall out of the sky. You think Phil came from Williston North Dakota to now with which mindset?

Kidd/Rasheed/Camby led team= 2 seed

Woodson/Felton/Chandler led team= 9 seed (the Knicks deserved having teams lay over against Atlanta down the stretch, the dysfunction was so ugly. ) the Knicks were prob a top 5 ec team the last 1/4 to 10/15 games of the season.

Again and most importantly the Dumbassness with those three leading the ship last year is severely underrated. So is Carmelo/jr/bargnani's talent. so is Phil's mind.

I don't know why you're mentioning Bargnani and JR like they're good players. Bargnani is a monumental bust and JR is borderline retarded.

Calderon is better than Felton, but Dalembert isn't good. He'd make for a good backup center, but there's no way I would want him starting. The roster has been upgraded very mildly. That's it. Nothing will change THAT much. They'll win more games, but they won't do anything significant, so I don't know what you mean by "win now".

I think the Knicks win somewhere between 40 and 45 games if Melo resigns. Making the playoffs isn't really an accomplishment in the East though. Even getting past the 1st round isn't anything to brag about.

you just got to ignore the instant gratification mentality of fans today who are all about stacknig superstars every year to win a ring acting like the window closes after that year if they don't do anything.

teams come out of nowhere to be in the races for FA's once they free up space. its ridiculous to pretend NY could never turns things around of all places....their past history is awful because it was Dolan. they've had one of the greatest markets but probably a history of the shitiest star players since the 80's all because of Dolan.
