    Damn, was even that size in high school? Props to him for getting in shape. He could still be a solid center. I hope he does well. Look forward to seeing him play again.

    He does look a lot like Plaxico Burress now.

    Jerry Powell and Greg Brittenham are going to become a hot name within the basketball trainer circle now. Brittenham is the Knicks trainer who worked with Curry during his recent rehab. Powell is the trainer he worked with over the summer.

    Kudos to Curry. Your work has clearly paid off.

    He lost a whole lot of weight in the summer of 2004 with the Bulls too, but couldn't keep it off. Let's hope this time, he can keep the weight off. If so, he'd be a great addition to the Knicks this year.

    With guaranteed money rolling in regardless of his body shape, it's all about the internal motivation, and it's always a good thing to hear examples of guys who care enough to put in the work.

    It kinda boggles my mind how a professional basketball player can be out of shape and overweight in the first place, but at least he stepped up and did something about it.

    If they got enough monetary concessions and the language of the deal made an exception for injuries they might concede. The vast majority of players stay in reasonable shape, even in the offseason.
