This. At 35 years old Wade will have to pick his spots, but he's still one of the premier closers in the game. He'll have the ball in his hands down the stretch of games. He's a proven clutch performer, he has a high basketball IQ, and he can create for himself and others.

On a related note, Wade and Butler will coexist extremely well. There's a lot of mutual respect between them. Both are unselfish players and Wade is one of the most adaptable stars ever. There's also the Marquette connection. I don't think Butler will have a problem deferring to a legend in crunch time.

Seriously, why are people saying Rondo?

He averages 11 ppg on 50%TS for his career. He's obviously not going to be the go-to guy in crunch time ahead of Wade and Butler, both of whom are better and more efficient scorers.

Butler is so overrated. Of course you have to go with Wade...

There's a good chance he won't even be in the game during situations like this. He's useless as a spot up shooter and he's not going to be handling the ball, so there isn't much reason for him to be on the floor.

The correct answer should be, the player who gets themselves in position to take a good shot. I would imagine the play would be drawn up for Wade, but realistically, it should be whoever has the best looking shot after that play breaks down.
The problem most players that get the call have is that when the play breaks down, they still feel like they should be the one taking the shot and end up doing something stupid.

God damn the years are going too fast! It was like yesterday that this guy was one of the 'rising stars' of the game.

Last second shot? I'll give Butler the first one. I don't have a high degree of confidence in Wade when it comes to buzzer beaters. He often settles for bad shots in those situations.

Last possession shot outside of five seconds? Wade. Ball in hand in the fourth quarter? Wade.

Wade's primary value these days is as a closer. If he's not closing, he might as well be a role player.

However, the lesson of the LeBron years is that Wade is also a huge rhythm player. So you can't just ride Jimmy for three quarters and then expect Wade to carry you home. Wade has to be in the flow throughout the game. I have serious concerns about how all this is going to work out (and that's before we even talk about how Rondo fits into all this).

    Trick Question

No one because the Bulls have no spacing whatsoever and everyone will pack the paint and beat them down by 20 before half time. Bulls might as well tattoo "tanking" on all their players and coaches head because the way they constructed this team is ridiculous. 4/5 players on the team who can not shoot the 3 (unless they look at the hoop and take 15seconds to measure it up).
