Re: Sweetest Looking Jumpers Ever
Kevin Durant / Calbert Cheaney? Sweet, sure... but sweetest? Not any much sweeter than Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, Carmelo, Wade, Iverson, T-Mac etc. etc. etc. etc. i mean its ok, just doesnt stand out to me.
Anyways...
To bad a bunch of you here seemingly werent around to witness Steph's pops (Dell Curry) jumpshot.... its the sweetest, fastest textbook stroke i ever seen.... in the 90s the "sweetest jumpshot" debate was started always first with Dell Curry and he would usually win that debate... im sure most early 90s childs would remember here.
Glen Rice, Craig Hodges, Ray Allen, Michael Redd, Allan Houston, Drazen Petrovic ranks up there aswell.
Today its Ray Allen, he is still around afterall, Steph Curry follows i would say (he had a heck of a teacher around him 24-7-365).

I have always thought Carmelo Anthony has a beautiful jumpshot, but so few agree with me for some reason

Re: Sweetest Looking Jumpers Ever
Jordan, Kobe, McGrady, Marbury, and Allan Houston IMO had the nicest shots of anyone I've ever seen.

Re: Sweetest Looking Jumpers Ever
There are all the obvious choices, most of which have been outlined here. I'm going to throw you a curveball.
On the great 1994 Arkansas National Championship team, they had the most audacious three-point marksman I had ever seen. His name was Alex Dillard. Not only was he a deadeye shooter, he'd jack them up from near midcourt sometimes... not because the shot clock was running down or a heave at the end of the half.
These shots came completely within the flow of the offense and were even designed. Teams were so afraid of his shooting that they'd stay up on him at the three-point line, so he'd just take five steps back and drop them.
Watching Dillard shoot the ball was a beautiful thing. I don't know if he ever even played an NBA game, but I'll never forget the way he shot the ball.
Here he is making 12 threes in one game, an NCAA record. Look at where he is shooting these things from...

I always thought anfernee hardaway's shot was sweet.

Re: Sweetest Looking Jumpers Ever
Durant is the GOAT jumpshooter given his elite touch, ridiculous size making it impossible to get a good contest, and ability to create open looks off the dribble.
