Grant Hill without a doubt. He is one of the three or four best players that I have ever seen play. Pippen comes in 2nd and I am not even sure why Penny Hardaway is in this discussion.

The OP lost me when he called Pippen a "proven clutch player."

Anyway, the pecking order is Pippen > Hill > Hardaway. Prime Pippen is over prime Hill due to his defensive impact; in every other respect, prime Hill was superior. Hill was a much more aggressive and capable individual scorer than Pippen was (probably had the best handle of any 6'7"+ player not named TMac).

It's seems to be madeout that these guys are similiar scorers when really Penny is a signifigantly better scorer than PIPPEN and discernably better than HILL. even in teh clutch G-HILL never showed as much as Hardaway did to me...he showed heart....but in the NBA g-HIll wasn't as much of a money player as Hardaway was.

It's just Hardaway brokedown so quickly......but overall as a 1st option scorer he's KB8 to Hill's Lebron...and becuz he's actually a very good and willing passer I think Penny is the best 1st option if he's not the bestall-round player

With the way the rules are nowadays I think a prime Penny would average 25-30 ppg quite easily because of the softer foul calls.

If I was building a team from scratch, I'd take a prime Penny, if I was building a team that already had a star on it, I'd take Pippen.

Penny was a better clutch player than GHill or Pippen.
