Given both choices, I would rather have Lebron's career. Even if he goes 2/7. Battling, putting the entire team on your shoulders every year. Even last years FInals, being the complete underdog, multiple injuries, but still giving it your all.
And for Kobe, the Shaq thing really hurts him, even though it gives him 3 extra rings.

Why do people act like something "hurts" these players. How is Kobe hurt? He is one of the top players of all time and has 5 rings. Likely more than Lebron will finish with. Are you asserting Kobe hasn't battled?
And for those who go the other way, how is Lebron "hurt", he still has 2 titles as well as being one of the greatest all-around players if not the greatest in the history of the game.
We can celebrate them both, they're only really hurt in comparison to Michael Jordan. But when it comes to comparing them, why can't we just appreciate them both. The stans on both sides act like the other player isn't even in the same realm as their "god". This isn't directed necessarily to OP just a general comment to the stans who shit on either player.

You can wish that it doesn't hurt him. But the fact that people take into account that Shaq was the man for those 3 rings is something that always comes up. Thus it hurts him. He wasn't the main focus of the defense. Even Kobe himself didn't like it, which is what he told Phil Jackson when he wanted Shaq out.
My point about Lebron is that I rather have his career, where he's carrying mediocre roster to 60 win teams, and the Finals. With all the weight on him. When he wins he gets all the credit, when he loses he gets all the blame. When Kobe loses, people use others as scapegoats.

It's simple math.
5/7 > 2/6

The poll is useless. While I think it's totally conceivable Kobe will end up with a better career, you can't base it on that ball considering how many Kobe stans and Laker fans are throughout the country/world. Remember when you could vote for what game to see on NBATV? Majortiy of the time they were voting for Lakers games when the Lakers sucked ass. They have the strongest fanbase in the NBA.
