Default Flopping and drawing offensive fouls seems to be the defensive move of choice now

It seems coaches and players have gotten wise, bad defenders such as Chuck Hayes and Blake Griffin have flopping and trying to draw an offensive foul as their go to defensive move.

This is actually smart because a good flopper will generate 3-4 turnovers a game which makes up for poor defending from the player.

Still I think something should be done. Big men these days aren't even trying to defend the paint, only to plant their feet quickly and draw charges.

Not defending real flopping, but exaggerating contact to draw offensive fouls is fine. It is annoying with the announcers saying there's no way this big guy gets knocked down. The fact is if you don't fall over on contact they will call a defensive foul instead.
