That eliminates 2 people. What puts him over Magic, Bird, Duncan, and Shaq?

He's easily top 5 all time.

What Kobe did during the 2012-2013 season was nothing short of amazing. He single handedly brought the Lakers to the playoffs; in his 17th season none the less. This catapulted him in the top 5.

It was really special, simply because his team quit on him. He played with the fire that they all lacked.

Few people understand that his team quit.

IDK if they quit. They just sucked. Too old and too many injuries with no defense. A recipe for disaster.

So true. All you have to do is pay attention to the team's body language during that season, then it becomes obvious.

I might be the biggest kobe fan on this site but there's no way even I can put him in the top 10

His resume is arguably top 5, no doubt. As a player I rank him in the 12-15 range. When factoring in both I have him ranked number 8 all time. Fantastic player, fantastic career.

8 isn't so bad that I will argue it.

In the past 4 years he had 2 first round exits and 2 missed playoffs.

If they miss the playoffs again this year he drops out of my top 15

I have him somewhere between 2-5, depending on the day.
