Don't listen to the haters, you guys are getting an awesome player still. Rose was playing well last season. He outplayed most of the top PG's when they played head to head, especially Westbrook on Christmas. Since December, his play was on the upswing, and he was looking like his old self.

His numbers weren't there overall, but he played well.

He will be in a FA year, so he will be motivated, and pairing him with Melo will get Melo easy shots, and Porzingis (sp?) will have an easier time in the middle due to no one being able to double off on Rose, or Melo.

Rose is going to work hard in the off-season, and come back stronger being another year away from any major injuries.

Plus, you get him without much risk.


So congrats on the big move. He's going to have some exciting games in your uniform.

bump. rose had a stretch when butler was out where he was playing like a real boss. the guy still has the mvp skills, maybe not the mvp athleticism yet, and hes still getting back that mvp mentality.
