Without kd, melo having an off year, bron wanting less playing time, and mcbuckets not getting minutes, yeah he is a lock for scoring champion this year

When someone says that they are usually not speaking of some 5 ppg scrub or a totally inept offensive starter like DeAndre Jordan. They are most often alluding to any top 10-15 scorer.

It might have an * if he does. Scoring champion shooting under 39%. Many would look at it as if the only reason he won it was because he forced the issue and gunned for it and not something organic.

Doubtful on the asterisks notion based on the fact that he's 36, recently surgically repaired, and playing on an unimpressive team.

Really, you really think that Kobe playing the way he is is going to stop people from bringing it up because he's 36 and came off of bad injuries? Always these excuses. If anything it's more of a reason for him to pass the ball every once in a while. The guy is trying so hard to win the scoring title, not passing, just shooting everything, forcing the issue, saving his energy on defense, but that's admirable because he's 36. It's just so funny.

Can Kobe become the oldest scoring champion ever?
He certainly plans to take enough shots to...and he's going need all 25.

    This is so overplayed.

They were playing basketball everyday before they came into the league, and they simply continue playing it.
