You are amazing
Gotham (TV series) thread
Anybody watching this great show about story of batman's greatest villains and Jim Gordon?
I think it's a really well written show with that cartoonish feeling to it.
How did you like the five episodes so far?

Jada Pinkett Smith just looks so ****ing amazing in this show

Re: Gotham (TV series) thread
It's a bad show that hopefully will get better. The direction, pace, and acting/dialog is beyond mediocre. They have been trying to improve those things from episode to episode but they are still very behind.

Penguin's, Gordon's and Fish's acting are beyond great, dunno what you're talking about.
Even Bruce is incredibly good for a child actor.
Alfred kinda sucks, and cat's acting isn't that great too, so it definitely has ways to go to be at the TWD level, but hey, this show is definitely not "bad"

The show is in fact a bad one if we're judging on a curve.
I agree with you that Alfred is the worst out of the bunch.
I see you brought up TWD.. Which means we're not even having the same conversation.

Premise sounded stupid as hell so I didn't watch.

Re: Gotham (TV series) thread
I am actually loving this show. I like Penguin's character. He might be the most interesting character on television right now, imo.
Ed Nigma is "fascinating" (he always says that when he sees something bad happen) and I'm curious if any casual Batman fan knows who he really is. I recognized the name immediately in the first episode.
Cat's character has been boring. I think the actress sucks. She's the only 'meh' actor to me.
I hope this show goes on for a while. It'd be interesting how they'd start off Batman's start, different from the Nolan movies.

I'm trying to get into it, but they keep making references to The Arrow show, which I can't watch because of how corny it is.
I hated that in the very first episode of The Flash, the main character meets The Arrow's main character without any background story on how the hell they know each other.
I'm gonna give this show at least this season to keep me interested. If it doesn't pick up, I'm not watching its 2nd season.

I can't take your opinion seriously about this topic.

That's because you didn't watch Arrow.
Barry appeared on several episodes last season. Of course he wasn't The Flash yet, but he knew Arrow's identity and helped him with some stuff. He's also who told the Arrow to start wearing a mask, hence that line in the first Flash episode...something of an easter egg if you will.
The Flash is called a spinoff of Arrow for a reason. =)

Thanks for the info.
I might try to watch The Arrow. I just couldn't get into it. The acting was lame. It reminded me of just a superhero version of something like Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Dawson's Creek, y'know?

Ya. You should give it a second go. It definitely started out a bit that way but gets much better.
Keep in mind it is a CW show though. If you're expecting GOT or BB type of writing/quality you will be disappointed.
