Should you be called a great scorer if you can't make 50% of your shots
If you don't shoot 50% that means you miss more than you make

Titles are overrated
Re: Should you be called a great scorer if you can't make 50% of your shots
Off the top of my head...the following people say yes:
Wilt
Jordan
Bird
Kobe
Oscar robertson
Jerry West
Gervin
Nique
Tmac
Iverson
Durant
Elgin Baylor
Lebron
Wade
Pistol Pete
Dirk
Or they would have during the various seasons all shot under 50% while being considered on an all time great level and scoring 25-38 points a game.

Well technically free throws are shots... Sooo if you took for example, someone like Kobe, and simply asked how many shots did they make out of the shots they took in game then you'd come up with 56% so... chances are whoever you think isn't a great scorer because they missed more than they made, actually probably made more "shots" than they missed.

Should you be called a winner if you fail at over 50% of your championship opprotunities?
