size to match so they wont get bullied off the court.. every guy on this team doesnt need to be fed and is of an unselfish variety. Even wilt fits that criteria if we use his older, stronger version that was more focused on defense, rebounding, and passing. And absolute lock down defense. Much more fluid and practical fit than OP's.
So who's the clutch scorer on that team?
Mr back to back 8 points in the Finals Bird, or Mr 18ppg finals average Wilt ?
Your team would get destroyed

clutch scorer? Larry bird.. that was easy. you dont need a bunch of guys to do that .. it gets redundant. most great teams only have one great closer anyway.. there's one ball.

Lol tpols, Bird a clutch scorer?
Gotta love how myths and fairy tales create untrue perceptions about players.
So basically your team comes down to the clutch scoring of Moncrief and Jason Kidd vs. the clutch scoring of Jordan, LeBron, Duncan
Ummm... good luck with that
Didn't really think through your players did you tpols

The GOATS
Re: Create a team that can beat the All-NBA 3 FMVP's team
Jason Kidd ( Perfect floor general with length for Magic )
Kobe ( Team leader, clutch closer, defense)
Durant ( stretches defense, long range shooting)
Kemp ( ultimate help defender, catches any alley oop, amazing mid range jumper )
Hakeem ( ultimate rim protector, unstoppable post game, controls tempo)
-
Re: Create a team that can beat the All-NBA 3 FMVP's team
PG: Pippen
SG: Durant
SF: Kawhi
PF: Duncan
C: Hakeem
Pop as coach
Better defense, more spacing from superior shooters so there's more spacing to operate, no alpha dog personalities.
Pop with a team like this would be beautiful to watch.

IMO Kobe at PG already destroys this teams chances
Bird only has 2 FMVP's?
Really? Who got the 3rd for that Celtics team? :O

As far as picking Pippen goes, it's interesting and seems to be the opposite of what the OP is doing. He picked Magic at point guard despite his defensive weaknesses and I'm worried that picking Pippen would have the same problem. You could give Jordan a harder time on offense but Pippen is a disgrace on offense. 40% in the playoffs for the 2nd 3peat and 39% in the 3 finals at the end.
Would you sacrifice one position on the floor just for a defender? It might work out if you think you could overcome the poor offense.
I would trust him to make the open shot, drive thru when a lane was available, and catch and finish. I don't think he'd need to do more than that. He'd be the 5th option and would be a monster on D.
I'd run Hakeem at Shaq in certain instances, trust Bird to help on TD (which isn't a great matchup) or let him shoot. And if not, let Bron or Magic shoot and hope they miss.
Would also not be afraid to foul Shaq if I had to. TD is also foul-able sometimes.
