    So yeah Duncan > Shaq.

In those 3 years the Lakers beat them Shaq didn't even out play his sidekick Kobe let alone Timmy.

That's because the sidekick Kobe usually played ATG basketball against the Spurs. Way better than Bron has too

What are the stats with 2008 thrown out? Seems like that might skew them quite a bit.

This. 1999-2004 both were in their primes.

Shaq went against both DUNCAN AND ROBINSON while Duncan was going against inferior defenders that the Lakers had at the 4.. When Robinson retired the Spurs had a decent 7 footer in RASHO.. Kobe took more shots as well vs those SPURS teams since he usually had a bigger advantage than Shaq did vs DUNCAN AND ROBINSON... In their primes I would take SHAQ over Tim any day of the week.. Duncan had the better career though..
