Kobe started his first game in the NBA as a Laker and never left the organization. He is regarded as being "loyal" but at what point was he supposed to leave the franchise? Was it a tough decision to stay when he won three sidekick Robin rings with Shaq early into his career? Was he supposed to leave in 2005 right when Shaq left? 2008 when the Lakers snagged Pau Gasol and had a Finals run?
He handcuffed my Lakers franchise later into his career by asking for max money while not being worth nearly half of it, but that's another story.
So again, at what point was Kobe supposed to leave? How many players would leave a prime Shaq? A prime Gasol?

Not loyal but actually he was smart to stay instead of leaving in 2012 when he got eliminated back to back in playoffs 11' and 12' becos if he leaves he is labled as "ring chasing" so its smart to stay and waste away for his last 6 years 11' to 16' so the fans will say he is loyal
