Andre Drummond vs DeAndre Jordan should be fun to watch, otherwise, if the Clippers can continue their elite D, they should be able to just demolish the Pistons tonight. Well, as long as the offense is clicking like it was during San Antonio where JJ finally got the lid off the bucket.

Qs Quote:
Los Angeles continues to remain the league's best defense, after shellacking Detroit 114-82, just a few days after beating San Antonio 116-92. Over the last five, the Clippers have held opponents to 89.4 points, and that will be put to the test as Portland is averaging 110.3 over the same stretch, while having scored over 100 every game to this point. And they are the only team to hit triple digits against this Clipper side (Phoenix came within two points), so it'll be an exciting match between the Clippers new found defensive eliteness and Portland's ability to score.

Q's Prediction:
Clippers Win 103-84
Overall Prediction Record: 12-4 (6-1)

Q's Preview

It may be only six games in, but the Clippers are only giving up 89.4 points per game. Just for comparison, the Utah Jazz are giving up the second least points at 94.4 per night, five more. Combine that with opponents shooting just 40.3%, once again, the best in the league and nearly a percent above the second placed Miami Heat. They also ranked third in turnovers forced, behind Dallas and Atlanta, second in points per shot, 10th in rebounds, second in steals and eight in assists-to-turnovers.
On the flip side, Portland has been a tough offense, behind Damian Lillard, to contain, as they ranked third in points scored per game, with 110.3, just a tenth behind Cleveland for the second slot, sixth in field goal percentage at 46.5%, third in three point percentage and second in points per shot. They have surpassed the century mark in every game, with half the eight contests eclipsing 110, albeit two went into overtime (they had already passed the century mark at the end of regulation in both contests).

VS
Los Angeles Clippers (7-1) vs Oklahoma City Thunder (6-2)

WHEN: Friday, November 11th at 6:00 PM PST
WHERE: Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, OK
MEDIA: NBATV, Local Broadcasts
Vegas Lines: TBD
Season Series: Thunder 1-0
OKC 85-83

Qs Quote:
Only one team has been able to beat the Clippers this year, and that was Oklahoma City escaping with a 85-83 victory. Since then, the Clippers defense continues to stifle opponents while the offense is starting to come into its own, as shown by three consecutive games in which they scored in the 110s and held opponents to the 80s, including opening up a stunning 48 point lead against a Portland offense that was ranked third in points per game on Wednesday evening.

The Clippers currently rank first in points given up (88.3, second place Utah is at 95.4), first in point differential (+16.8, second place Atlanta is at 9.3), first in opponents field goal percentage (39.6, second place Miami is at 41.1), third in opponents three point per percentage, third in turnovers forced, second in steals, second in turnovers, sixth in assists-per-turnover. The defense has been so stifling, in fact, that the top two 5-man defensive units, to this point has the Clippers starters at the top slot and the second unit (Raymond Felton - Austin Rivers - Jamal Crawford - Wesley Johnson - Marreese Speights) as the second spot. They still struggle on the glass, raking 19th, however.

Russell Westbrook will need to do it all, while the Thunder will hope to contain the Clippers offense and provide enough of a supporting punch to give the Clippers their second loss, at their own hands.

Q's Prediction:
Clippers Win 103-89
Q's Prediction Record: 14-4 (7-1)
