    yep.

lol at the stans. making up stats now. kobe doesn't have double what dirk has.

this has been proven by espn's stats department. and i'm not even sure its counted the two more that dirk has this year so far.

25 out of 65 for dirk.

36 out of 119 for kobe.

Exactly.. kobe has made a ton more(40%+more) and he has made them when they counted in the playoffs while winning chips.. where was dirk at in 06 when he choked away his only true title shot? Not even comparable really when context is applied.

Keep trying though.. this shit is too funny.

Kidd not a good 3-pt shooter. Not sure if srs...

Check who's number 3 behind reggie miller and ray Allen..

Double the attempts then. Yeah, give me 25/65 over 36/119 any day. That's much better. I think the rest of the team could do a little better than 11/54. Which is the difference between them.

Kobe has more game winners, but he's shooting 20% on all those extra game winners attempted.

dirk has 4 game winners in the playoffs. kobe has 6. kobe actually performs even worse in the playoffs. shooting 27% for his career in the playoffs in these situations (3% under the league average)

    ouch!

exactly. dirk chooses to not force up as many bad shots. therefore he has less makes...but he shoots a higher percentage and has more assists and his team's perform better.

    LOL

    which one do you want?
    correction:

    kobe is 36 of 115...sorry.

    bow down.

melo has a good argument. i'll give you that. i just prefer dirk....no problem with someone saying melo is better though.

I don't know about saying that about allen and pierce though... Allen is definitely ice cold in his veins... Pierce is a above average decision maker in the clutch, be it shoot over the defender with a step back or a pass to a wide open Allen.

I'm going to need stats before you say that Allen and Pierce arent good at game winners. Seriously.

allen and pierce are both solid.

allen is great. but allen has less makes on more shots than dirk. dirk is a much better creator in these sets as well. that is why i have dirk over allen....dirk is the playmaker....so dirk is a little more deadly when it comes to the ways he beats you. dirk also gets to the ft line as often as anyone not named lebron james.

pierce is solid, but he's not on dirk's level in this category.

    i didn't say they weren't good.

allen is great. allen is 23 of 70...dirk is 25 of 65.

very similar. dirk is 39%....allen is 33%.

but the reasons i take dirk over him:

    dirk is the better playmaker
dirk gets to the free throw line more often
dirk demands to be shaded/doubled more and in turn sets up better shots for his teammates as a passer

pierce is good, but he's not in the elite grouping like dirk and allen are.

I dont really watch to much Mavs game...... But is Dirk really that clutch?

IMO I think Pierce is one of the clutchest players in the postseason, just cold blooded Killer
