In their prime Derrick Rose and LeBron would be the top for me. Derrick Rose for his size is very strong, and I've never seen someone with his foot quickness and agility, ever. Carter could jump high and had good quickness, but his speed wasn't amazing and his strength was just decent.

You can look in the NBA right now and Russel Westbrook is right up there with him in athletism. Lets not get carried away. Too compare him athletically to Jordan is just not fair to the kid.

Westrbook is definitely not the same as Derrick Rose. I'd venture to say it's a pretty decently sized margin. While Westrbook can almost jump as high and is probably as strong, he's not as fast, and he's definitely not as quick. Watch Derrick Rose in the open court. His feet are like a blur, and when he changes direction it's as if he's a pinball.

I'd also give Rose the advantages over Jordan in quickness agility and speed. He's close in strength and I'd say he probably loses in vertical.

I'm just rating pure athleticism here, not basketball skill. Jordan may be the GOAT, but he's definitely not the GOAT athlete. I'd put LeBron above Jordan too there.

he is up there, but I don't see an argument for him being more athletic than Lebron or MJ. If he were in there class then he would have the lateral movement to be a shutdown defender. He lacks that lateral movement.

Oh, do you really think Rose is that much more athletic then Russel Westbrook?
