NBA Players want to play with Lebron
In last weeks Sport's Illustrated, a poll based on a survey of 190 NBA players was released. The question being,
" Which opposing NBA player would you most like to have on your team?"
32% wanted to run next to LeBron James,
13% wanted to go to war with Kobe Bryant,
8% wanted to run-and-gun with Steve Nash,
7% wanted to experience the intensity of Kevin Garnett
%7 wanted to fill the lanes for Chris Paul.
Which player would you least like to have on your team?
Stephon Marbury, Celtics G.....22%
Ron Artest, Rockets F.....9%
Stephen Jackson, Warriors F/G.....5%
Kobe Bryant, Lakers G.....5%
Gilbert Arenas, Wizards G.....5%

It looks like Kobe confuses even the NBA players. They agree that he's a great player but maybe they don't think he'd be good teammate.

Re: NBA Players want to play with Lebron
I would most like to play with Nash.
Lebron and Kobe are both ballhogs. Lebron gets assists, but only from drive and dish. He isos every play with the ball in his hands, and passes only when times running on the shotclock, so his teammates are forced to shoot. both Kobe and Lebron would be crappy teammates to me, yeh theyd get the wins but no one would ever get the ball

Re: NBA Players want to play with Lebron
I was actually thinking that the other day, that Bron's teammates always seem to absolutely love the guy. I think he puts so much confidence in whoever he plays with and makes them feel important. It really helps the team morale so that they don't end up feeling like they're just roster fillers.

Sorry - 13% is far LESS than 22%(oooops! That little number belongs to the perennial cancer, Starbury!), doesn't it?

Poor Stephon. Although he's been playing crappy, he has seemed to embrace his role on these celtics.. If he could just keep out of trouble for a few seasons he could be able to clean up his image..

Why wouldnt anyone want to play with Lebron? Dude's way young, and has yet to peak. Seems more of an upside.

That's just another why he is the best player in the world. Unlike several superstars (aside from the points) he makes his teammates much better.

Re: NBA Players want to play with Lebron
Besides Kobe, the last star I'd want to play with would be a LeBron or Wade. Yes, they'll pass you the ball, but you'll seldom get to make a play yourself. Nash, on the other hand, would be fun to play with because he'll set you up but also allow you to create on your own.

That is more the case when playing with Wade then LeBron.
LeBron is always looking to pass and initiates the Cavs offense. If another player gets going, LeBron will cease to take shots in order to set that player up.
That just isn't the case with Wade/Kobe.

the Cavs only run 4 plays. Midrange post up to Z on the left, Z postup on the lowblock, and then two Lebron Iso high picks. Yes you can't deny that fact, Mike Brown only has them run 4 set plays. So of course Lebron can initiate that offense, especially when half the plays are isos for himself, lol
