Yup, MVPs pass the ball to haslem on game winning shots, and dont show up in the 4th quarter, and lead their team to lose against elite competition.

you sure know your stuff. lebron clearly performed better than rose that year right? here are both players, facing the same defensive scheme in a very clutch situation. remember the heats losing streak?crygate? yea, lebron and wade clearly played better than rose. smfh

Yes. People are forgetting how weird that year was for Lebron. He didn't like the villian role but tried it. Lost his confidence in his shot. His footing began betraying him. He and Wade couldn't figure out their roles. A lot of games he was mentally not there.

Like the poster Houston says above, player with the most impact means a lot.
As far as impact in a close games, impact in the stretch run (after the allstar break), impact against better teams, and consistency and impact in 4th quarters, Rose was the better player, and much better than Dwight in those situations. To me Lebron was the best all around player but not in those situations. Lebron taking a route because it was easy, definitely played against him. Rose having a better record with all types of hardships sealed the deal.

The topic is about the 10/11 season and you showing gifs about 11/12 season.

The play is the same, not the scenario. The Bulls were already leading; the Heat were trailing... and yes, I would have rather have had LeBron take that shot.

Without a counter point... Was he always ineffective against better competition? Was he always confused by the late game situations? Was he always confounded on who is the leader of the team? Did he always look like he didn't know how to play in the finals? It wasn't a weird year??? Really.

I guess since Rose looked good in the USA game, it's time to start the "did he deserve the MVP award" talk again. Get over it, he won it.

Howard had the chance to battle it out with him at the end of the season, but the idiot got his 18th technical the game before and got suspended a SECOND time in one season for that game. You're not going to win MVP getting suspended twice in one season.

Especially when one of those game was the biggest game the voters were watching to see the two main candidates battle it out.

Why is this even a question still?

    Lebron clutch stats

    2010

    66/16/8, 49FG, +37

    2011

    45/11/5, 44FG, +16

... including the Heat being historically bad w/ GWs like 1-9 on the year or something. They were completely shook.. bran went from godmode in cleveland to scared af his first year in miami.
