The only fvcking team in the league that could matchup and can actually beat the Thunder in a 7 games series was Miami that year. Hell no one else stood a chance at beating them. As soon as OKC figured out SA, they roflstomped them to a backdoor sweep after SA won 20 straight, and 31 out of 32, including winning their 1st 10 playoff games.

As I said, OKC was an easier matchup for Heat than Celtics and Pacers. The road to the finals is subjective. Celtics were a tougher opponent than OKC from Heat s perspective, but from Spurs perspective, OKC would have been a tougher opponent.

Their record against other teams in the regular season has nothing to do with thier match up with Heat. In 2007, 8 seed Warriors were a matchup nightmare for the 1st seed Mavs. From Mavs s perspective, Warriors were tougher than higher seed teams. The regular season record has nothing to do.

That's why the Mavs were a laughingstock. You don't get to blame losses in the playoffs against weaker teams on "matchups".
