He's not better but I like the fact that he can shoot and doesn't have to rely on screens 90% of the time.

I'm going to go with:
d. not quite there yet
Rose has a lot to prove. he's had a fantastic regular season. 1. Let's see him translate that into post-season success. and let's see him do that a second time, a third time, a fourth time.
People are too quick to crown the latest thing.

Scoring: Wade
Passing: Rose
Shooting: Rose( I know he doesn't have the %, but Rose is a better shooter. Plus Wade doesn't face the attention Rose faces)
Rebounding: Wade
Defense: Wade
Athleticism: Rose
Potential: Rose
Clutch: Rose ( He's made bigger and more shots than Wade this season)
How is Rose a better shooter? Perhaps from the 3pt line, but thats it. Wade has a similar if not better mid-range game. Wade scores more and in a more efficiently way, thats the difference here.
Potential is arguable, but ill give you that.
Clutch? No way in hell. This season perhaps, but Wade has been extremely clutch since he entered the league. Watch how he carried his team in 2009, keeping them close against many rivals that were obviously better.
What about 2006 Finals? refs or not, the truth is Wade put up one of the best finals performances of all time, and he was extremely clutch. The Heat came from a 2-0 deficit for gods sake.

Re: How much better is Rose than Wade?
lol Rose isn't even 3/4 the players Wade is.
Maybe 2/3, and even that's REALLY pushing it if you were to look at everything subjectively in Rose's favor when real true analysis is brought to the table.
2/3 is REALLY pushing it

Wade scores more efficiently, because he has a better shot selection and doesn't face constant double teams. You don't think having Lebron helps Wade shoot a better percentage?
Yes, Wade has been clutch since entering the league, but he hasn't been clutch this year. Rose had made big shot after big shot this season. I don't think you can name a single big shot Wade has hit this season.

Re: How much better is Rose than Wade?
Put it this way
If Rose had the most ball dominant player in history on his team like LeBron, Rose would have numbers of 18/6/3 this year.. Wade is doing 26/7/4 on 50%, and 1.5 steals with over a blk per game
thats incredible and shows the superior player wade is

wade has been pretty much a 50% scorer the last 4 or 5 years. hes always hovering around it. so lebron isnt the reason. stop pretending it is.
wade has been clutch this year. he hit a pair of game winning free throws this year.
how many actual game winners does rose have? name one of the top of your head.

Re: How much better is Rose than Wade?
Wade is better than Rose, slightly, by a small margin, who gives a shit. He's better, nuff said.
-
Re: How much better is Rose than Wade?
so edhemsoccer, the answer is? none.
hes not clutch either. when it comes to crunch time play he shoots below 40%, is a turnover machine and looks to pass rather than score himself.
