Fixed.

So effectively, the Cavs gave up 2 first round picks.
And that is just for this season. The Cavs could simply have waited until the summer to sign him then and not give up anything. But the Cavs are still fighting for this season.
Also we don't know if the Cavs wanted to include Anthony Bennett in the deal instead or whether the Bulls didn't want him.
effectively they really gave up 3 second rounders because the kings aren't making the playoffs anytime soon. Yes the bulls can theoretically package the picks to make moves which is exactly what the cavs did when they had him.
Anthony Bennett? I don't think he'd be on the trading block so soon, but either him or TT could be moved sometime down the road.

Deng is a very good player, but more importantly he can change the basketball culture for the team.
And the owner is saying - we've spent enough time in the lottery, let's get in the playoffs.
Also, he is looking at the young players and see which player are going to grow and which ones won't.

The trade was announced last night at like 2 AM Eastern so chances are about 0.1% chance of Deng playing tonight. Debut will probably be Friday against the Jazz.

This is an awful post.
First off, the Sac pick is almost certainly going to be a second round pick as they absolutely won't be out of the bottom 12 this year and it looks doubtful they will be out of the bottom 10 the following two years. So its a Sac 2nd rd pick in 2017.
The 2nd rd picks are both from Portland. So you are looking at ~56-58 this year and late next year. The two of them together MIGHT garner a ~#45 pick but I doubt it (last year the Bucks traded #43 and next year's #2 for #38).
So Cle gave up NO first round picks and there is at best a ~50/50 Chicago even gets a player that will make their roster.
