Butler has always been clutch. Dude was fearless even in his early Chicago days.

Morris was the biggest issue on both offense and defense. Shouldn't haven't even been on the court.

And all it took was over 40 free throws and a Baynes injury/Marcus Smart ejection in order for them to win.

    Crazy.

Congratulations to the Sixers for finally breaking that hold the Celtics had over them.

This should build their confidence and help solidify their hold on to the third seed.

The Celtics will be fine, because they are still a balanced team that does not require homecourt advantage as much - just that they can be overpowered by stronger teams in the Eastern conference. Horford no longer seems capable of controlling Embiid, given the 37 point and 22 rebound performance tonight.

Morris has been a straight up bum since a little bit before the all star break. He had a nice hot start to the season and got way overrated. I have no idea what he has on Brad and why he won't play Brown and Hayward more (I know hayward is out, but this goes back to before this) and just sit Morris' ass down. He's by far the worst non guard defensive player on this team and does nothing else but chuck up shots like he's Michael Jordan on offense. If the Celtics are going to do anything in the playoffs he needs to be benched and his mins given to Hayward and Brown.

What fans fail to see and what coaches see always comes down to things that were promised or said or other things beyond on-court production. Perhaps Jaylen Brown can't play with a certain guy on the floor due to an ongoing feud, or perhaps Morris has the respect of the others that Hayward and Brown don't. These sort of intangibles that never come out until decades later in a biography or something.

What a bunch of nonsense. Morris being on the court so much has done nothing but hurt this team for awhile now. Period.

That must explain why Brad Stevens is an NBA head coach and you're some genius on the internet.

My favorite thing about Celtics losses is checking how much urine Bill Simmons has leaked on Twitter.

Baynes out 4-6 weeks with grade 2 ankle sprain, things are not looking good for Boston
