Default Defense vs Offense: Would you take Ibaka over Love?

    I know I would.

Ibaka is a DPOY candidate. Exactly what a contending team needs to win a chip.

Meanwhile Love puts up empty stats.

If Ibaka was on the Cavs you'd be trashing him incessantly. Fact. And no I would not take him over Kevin Love nor would any GM in the league.

If Love and his 26 PPG and 12.2 RPG wanted the suns, you wouldn't close the door. Best PF in this league and Top 3 best player behind Bron and KD and FOH whoever who tries to bring Anthony Davis in the conversation, Timberwolves wouldve been the worst team minus his production so please bruh! I'm asking please stop! I'm #Tired

    K-Love averages 24/14 against Ibaka.
    Ibaka averages 10/6 against Love.

In 2012, Love put up 51 points vs the Thunder.
Last game they went head to head, Love went 30/14/5 and Ibaka went 12/3...

Ibaka is good defensively but not good enough to cancel out Love's offense. His impact is more felt on altering shots than lock down defense.

    Love >>>> Ibaka on offense
    Ibaka >> Love on defense
    Love >> Ibaka overall

Loves a notorious stat padder, he can't even shoot 50% from the field

Ibaka is much better denfensively, and about the same on offense.

    Ibaka>> Love

    Westbrook>>>>>>>> Irving

Ibaka isn't close to being DPOY. he gets some weakside blocks, his man defense is above average.

OKC with durant took the spurs to 6 games and blew them out in 2 games while miami with lebron can only win 1 game. So OKC >>>>>>>>>>>> Miami ? With that logic does it mean KD is better than LBJ?

It's a close one. Ibaka is far better at defense, more durable, and more efficient on offense but Love is a far better rebounder and overall offensive player.

Taking contracts into consideration if I know they are going to be a 3rd option I'd take Ibaka.

If I didn't give a fukk about cap space and could go over the tax and shit I'd take Love

Idk, which one would be more blameable should their respective team lose?

And we already know Ibaka is out of the equation of ever playing with LeBron because he called out LeBron for not being a good defender, and going on to say he can play defense for 3 minutes but not 48 minutes.

LeBron got offended and called Ibaka stupid

Ibaka saying what we all know

And we also all know that in order to be Bran's teammate you gotta suck his dick, particularly to the media

Just depends on a situation. If its a team like Cleveland than Love is definitely a better fit. But for team like that has someone like Pau Gasol as the primary player then I definitely want Ibaka to complement that.

Ibaka does not have the impact James has on both ends. Ibaka is 3rd option, sometimes 4th option on the offensive end, with OKC. Of course his defensive impact will rise. Common sense.\
