Let the kid play before calling him Kobe.

And did you really expect LeBron to do anything other than ship him out for an all star?

    Well Jordan isn't LeBron

If Jordan said something like "I'm excited about growing with the young guys" then you better believe he meant it. Jordan wanted to win as bad as anybody but not via stacking the deck as much as possible.

Different guys, different ambitions, different results in the finals, ya know?

Love is a better player than Divac. And stop calling Wiggins as a top 12 player of all time until he plays a single game in the NBA. Minny also didn't have Prime Shaq in their roster.

I like this trade for Wiggins. He goes to a team where he can statpad for the first 4-5 years of his career to boost his GOAT credentials. Then after that he can focus on making the playoffs and winning titles.

Wiggins won't even be remembered as the best player in his draft class , once Jabari Parker gets put on a diet

No way Wiggins stays in Minnesota for many years. As soon as he can he's headed for warmer climes.

Worst case scenario for Wiggins(barring injury) is he has a slightly better career than Vince Carter statwise and might even win a ring along the way. However if he doesn't fall into the right system at the right time his ceiling isn't going to be much better than that.

Jordan also preferred to have an established superstar over a younger star. It was an implicit condition of his return that Pippen not be traded for a younger star (i.e. Shawn Kemp) and MJ always opposed efforts to trade Pippen when MJ was a Bull. Jordan threatened to retire if Pippen and Jackson were not retained; when they left he carried out his threat, despite being the reigning MVP. The real difference is obvious: Jordan was working to preserve a stacked team while LeBron has been working (if you assume he is playing GM) to create a stacked team.
