As usual, Kobe fans use his playoff runs instead of just the Finals numbers with FG% like they use against James.
We all know why.

Cuz he's a 40%fg shooter in the finals. That's why. He's the ultimate choke artist when the stakes are high.

Easily the worst season of Kobe's career.
Zero range, lift, and is actually inefficient from midrange, or 10-16 feet. For a guy celebrated over his midrange that is crazy.
Dude didn't just regress, he fell of a cliff.

Steph Curry's 3PT% is higher than Kobe's TS%. Think about that.

And don't tell me he doesn't have anyone to pass to, cause Clarkson has been the Lakers best player by far this season. Tonight for example
Kobe - 18 points on 6-22
Clarkson - 19 points on 8-14
Do Laker fans not see what's wrong with this picture? I feel like I'm watching the 2004 Finals all over again!
Something just inherently funny about comparing this scrub team to a stacked Finals team.

Damn
In all fairness to Kobe, Steph's shooting percentages make a lot of superstars past AND present look really bad.
Kobe fans will probably come at me like hungry zombies, but this season has shown me that while skilled, Bean's greatness was heavily dependent on his athleticism. Watching Dirk and Duncan play smart basketball, despite looking brittle and fatigued, has also made me question Kobe's IQ - not so much the shot selection, but how to pick his spots and play to his strengths.
Easily his worst season, and probably his last, but its been illuminating to some degree.

It's sad to see Bean be this bad for me. I have been a hater for a while (mostly due to his fans tbh, but I don't like the way he plays either), but he's so bad now that him having a bad game isn't funny anymore. In the past I would laugh when he went 9-31 or whatever, because it was usually due to him being a dumb chucker. Now, he just sucks and it's sad. I want to see him have a good game, he's struggling so bad and he seems dejected

Never let empathy get in the way of a good laugh.
