KD was better last season than current westbrook

first of all let me say that westbrook has been playing great last few games but people are underrating durant here for some reason.

kd averaged 36-6-6 on 55% while shooting 44% from 3 pt range in January last season without wesbrook with W-L record of 13-4.

Westbrook this season not only has worse record without durant than durant had without westbrook last jan but also that he is shooting way worse than durant did.

westbrook is great but durant can carry teams to more victories by himself. if anything, durant had less talen around him last year than westbrook does right now.

Yeah i agree, KD had arguably a top 20 peak season last year, and while Westbrook is great he isn't quite that high. Also, Westbrook hasn't been nearly as good with Kd playing, while Kd more or less maintained his level of play when westbrook was playing last year. That's sort of what moves the needle for me, plus the fact that there's an enormous gap in efficiency.

But last year Durant didn't miss any game, Westbrook missed 15 something games and they are 8 seed in West. They would not lose so much games with Westbrook beign injured I'm sure.

Well i think part of why Westbrook was able to go off in the playoffs was because he only played 46 games in the reg season, that rest helped him.

Which may happen in reverse this season if OKC makes the playoffs. Granted, Westbrook may not be human, so he may not ever wear down. Not this year anyway.
