Melo on the Pacers would make that team better. George on the Knicks would make them the same, or worse.

Yes and no. I don't think he can carry as much load as Melo as far as Melo, but playing into a team concept, he's definitely better. I don't think PG will ever get to Melo's level of scoring but he's already surpassed him in defense.
I think it's a draw depending who you prefer. If I absolutely have to pick 1 as my franchise player, I'll go with Melo.

He's more impactful because he's a two way player, but I'd take Anthony on the Pacers over him because of the team defense
Anthony would put them over the top offensively. Right now the Pacers have problems in the playoffs because they don't have an alpha dog scorer

Well, he's putting up good all around numbers for his position, certainly a top 5 SFs in the league, but May i ask, can the Heat get him?

Melo is better. I been saying this since PG was playing great and everyone was saying he ws better than Melo.

PG benefits from the team that he plays on.i don't think he's even close to melo at this point.plus, opposing defenses key in on both of these players and Melo ends up with the better stats still. it's a shame his team sucks. otherwise Melo might be #3 or 4 on the MVP ladder right now

Carmelo is better than PG. Swap the players and the Knicks stay out of the playoffs while the Pacers get stronger.
