Hell no to Rondo, no need to bring that cancer in, don't want him influencing Lonzo in any way

I feel like Rondo would be good for a season rental. He played good last season for the Bulls. I'm actually kind of surprised he hasn't got more interest. He's an upgrade for a lot of teams.

Re: ☆ NBA General FA/Trade Ideas | Offseason | Roster
Of all the veteran PGs I could think of, Rondo would be near the bottom of the list in terms of someone lending an ear to Lonzo and guiding him through his rookie year. Rondo's not exactly a people person, but maybe I'm judging him too harshly on past indiscretions. One year deal could work out.

Why not? The leftovers are horrible options.

Not only is he a cancer, but he'll be taking up a lot of minutes from Lonzo. Jamal Crawford if they can find a way to make it work offensively.

Well, since SVG was an idiot once again KCP is now a free agent. The Lakers are interested. He would be very good next to Ball in that back court.
[QUOTE]The Brooklyn Nets are planning to be an aggressive pursuer of Caldwell-Pope, angling to pair him in a young backcourt with D

KCP to the Lakers!

It's actually a really good deal. It makes for a lot of cap room next season. Then KCP will probably go somewhere else and get the contract he was looking for this season. He will probably play quite a bit this season to help his cause. The Lakers get an 18 million dollar expiring contract.

Yeah, very good signing. It will most likely be a 1yr rental as another team will probably offer him a long term deal next summer, but it's okay. Lakers have their eyes set much higher, on PG13.

MEH on this signing bec KCP is a pedestrian 3pt shooter, which is a must the past 8 years or so. PER of 12.8, league ave is 15. If anything atleast the Lakers will NOT have money to sign the very volatile Rajon Rondo and it's just a 1 yr deal.

I want to know exactly what did Nick Young do to not be treated the same way like KCP?
Nick shot 58.8TS%, 40.4% from the 3pt area, with a PER of 14.1
KCP shot 52TS%, 35% from the 3pt area and a PER OF 12.8
Nick gets 5.2 Mil while KCP gets 17 Mil.

Re: ☆ NBA General Discussions | FA/Trade Ideas
KCP is a lock down defender. Very under rated at that. He will play defense on the best guard from the other team which will keep Lonzo and Clarkson from getting burned.

Probably youth and upside, Young has had a very up and down career, a lot of downs. You know what you are going to get w/ Nick, and its not always good.
Had he not put in more effort last year, he may have been out of the league.

Re: ☆ NBA General Discussions | FA/Trade Ideas
Nick did pretty good. He's going to get a ring next season. I don't feel bad for him at all vs. KCP in this situation. Next season someone is going to give KCP a similar dollar amount multiplied by probably 4 or 5 years. It's not crazy what LA did.
