    Expect a bunch of "Let's go let's go let's go let's go let's go let's go let's go let's go let's go let's go let's go let's go!" Laker fans.

That said, D Antoni will be alright with the Lakers. Worst case, he at least know a clue about offense than Brown.

You can't have it both ways.

You're saying the Knicks sucked because of defense but it's okay since you have Dwight...well they had Chandler. Now you say it was their offense, well D'Antoni is an offensive minded coach with his run and gun, plus Melo/Amare (offensive guys) came back and they had Lin on a streak (then got hurt).

So which is it? You claim the Knicks were 5th best defense. And he still quit/lost his job? So what's different now that he will be with the Lakers?

So it's not the defense that killed the Knicks and Lakers won't have a problem on defense because of almighty Howard. So he's going to win with offense, but couldn't do it with Carmello/Amare/Lin? This is going in a big circle.

Knicks offense sucked and their defense was mediocre/good. How can an offensive genius have Melo and Amare on the roster and still have one of the league's worst offenses ?

Nash/Kobe/Pau/Dwight is a much better group and actually fit together when used properly

defence wins championships. The knicks improved once they went away from d'antonio ball into more defensive oriented under woodson.

Because they both have terrible bball IQ and they had no point guard to get them the ball in the right spot?

It all boils down to a player's willingness to adhere to a certain system, regardless of what the coach is attempting to implement.

Because a capable point guard is the foundation of his offense, hence why Linsanity was such a rapid improvement. Toney Douglas was never going to cut it.

I know Kobe likes Mike but has anyone stopped to think that now he will essentially be made into a spot up 3 point shooter?

True. Too bad D'Antoni won't know how to do that. Guy can only have success if you have a great point guard (and you have) surrounded by players who can shoot from outside (only Kobe) and run (no one).

You can expect Kobe,Metta and Gasol to take a bunch of threes. I doubt they are good at making them.
Kobe can hit an open three. For Metta and Gasol you can just pray it goes in. And Dwight couldn't hit one if you gave him 20 attempts.

Good coach will adjust his system to fit his players. He wanted to play like the Phoenix Suns and he hoped that Toney Douglas and Melo are as good at running the point as Steve Nash.
    That's a great coach.
