    Default 2016/17 Observation Deck

College Basketball is just around the corner, let's get some noise in here instead of all these crickets.

Coaches Poll has Duke, Kansas, Nova, Kentucky and Oregon as the top five, all receiving at least one first place vote with Duke getting 27.

Lots of freshman to watch, Giles, Fultz, Ball, Fox, Smith, etc.

I'm real curious on Ben Howland in his second year @ Mississippi State fter getting a solid recruiting class with six 4-stars and a 3.

    Mid-Major Top 25 is out:

Zaga & St. Mary's are 1 & 2, as expected, with Wichita State at 3. Valpraiso is #8 but got a first place vote.

Long Beach is #10, which is a solid showing for a Big West side. Shocked Grand Canyon is so low though.

CSUN starts off the year with a 94-75 exhibition win over Cal State LA.

The offense was flowing real well, I really like Aaron Parks & Kendall Smith in the backcourt. Do like our chances of winning the BW and making the Big Dance. Nearly upset #2 Memphis last time, and will continue Hawaii's run and upset someone this year!

I know its just Pacific, but UCLA has looked sexy.

Ball looks smooth, Aaron is balling off the bench.

Ball with 13 points on 4-6, including 2 threes and 5 times, no turnovers.

Bryce has 17 on 5-8 including 3-5 from three.

Aaron with 15 on 5-8 with 3-4 from three.

    So ****ing sexy

    Game 1: 19 Points | 8 Rebounds | 11 Assists | 2 Steals | 1 Turnover on 6-8 Shooting, 3-4 3PT Shooting, 4-5 FT Shooting

    Ball is Life indeed.

CSUN raping Cal Pomona-Pitzer, no surprise there. Think they'll put up a legit fight against UCLA on Sunday, but lose by like 14.

Arizona had a great win for the Pac, just a bit after losing Ray Smith and still, no word on Allonzo Trier.

    SC down 14-4 against Montana

Cal Poly SLO coming back against Pepperdine, while the rest of the Big West playing D1 teams sucking it up

Fultz had a horrible debut half against Yale, picked it up during the second half early though.

USC losing to Omaha early on

    Leaf is so incredibly impressive.

I know it's a stretch but his game is Larry Bird-esqu.

Maybe not the passing aspect but his rebounding and offensive skills look a lot like him.
