op is right... and there actually isn't really any way to distinguish between the instinctual anxiety/fear/adrenaline process and the actual things in the real world that scare you and make you paranoid about having to experience that process.... it's just all a dull charcoal void of dispair.... our longing for comfort and our hatred of uncertainty rushing in and disappearing and then cycling back to renew the battle and take on what's literally our worst nightmare: REAL LIFE. and so, without further adoe, here we are alone after an intense exploration that scrapes the depths of our soul for the slightest bit of integrity. and all we have afterwards is that same empty feeling. it's always burning deep down there you know? even while you're out jogging or doing your taxes, its burning slow but strong and ready to ignite at the smallest sense of insecurity. and when your life swerves to turn that low roar into an ignited blaze and you aren't equipped with the resources to control it, look out. that's when you get suicide. that's when you get mass shootings. which, i'm afraid to admit to anybody who is still reading this message but i must nonetheless, we are all as capable of as the next. really truly honestly. but also regrettably and repugnantly.....

am i dispersing with this truth too quickly? should i be easing into it like an old man lowering himself into a tepid pool of his his own filth he ran days before and can't afford to drain? or should i shackle you with these hard truths like a bounty hunter handing you over to whatever purpose i have fit for you in the grand plan? who has the grand plan anyway? if it's as many people as i think then we got a lot of trouble on our hands let me tell you brother.

    and another thing!..............

OP is right. I killed a spider crawling on my bed just before I went to sleep. So how many times did I go to sleep and miss the spider by a few seconds or minutes? I try to do a quick perimeter around my bed before going to sleep.

But that's also why it doesn't make sense to suffer from it.

studies have found that neurosis is self-reinforcing over time.

not to mention, the mind doesn't rationally pick and choose which ridiculosity to turn in to neurosis du jour, my boy.

    haha, or maybe it does!
