Default Kobe agrees to a deal to play in China starting Nov 1st

Kobe Bryant has reportedly agreed to a deal to play in China with Shanxi Zhongyu beginning November 1 if the lockout continues. If true, this is absolutely huge news for superstars considering going abroad. With the Chinese Basketball Association set to vote on rules later this week regarding opt-out clauses, the news comes at a highly intriguing time. Bryant had been previously exploring his options in China, and was reported to have a deal from a team worth $1.5 million monthly. Bryant's brand is huge in China, and it's very plausible that he winds up playing with the club if significant process isn't made on the labor front.

Seems very unlikely from what. Was reading earlier due to the opt out clauses.

Funny that they would publish this the same day the CBA announces no NBA-outs. So that means this is BS.

EDIT: Well I just read it (translated) and it does mention that if the CBA doesn't allow the NBA-Out then obviously this won't go through, and I'm pretty sure that happened.
