Let's see. Out of those mentioned teams, Clippers can offer him the most money, have the best record, and already are winning well with damn good chemistry. He would leave why again?
I mean, it is a possibility but I can't see why he would even consider it unless Clippers play .100 ball the rest of the way, trade Blake for Bargnani and Crawford plus Bledsoe for Earl Wattson and Shannon Brown.
Mike Brown's Cavs went 66wins and then 61wins in 09 and 10, does not change the fact that Mike Brown is a below average coach. Same thing with Avery Johnson and his 67-15 Mavs in 07. CP3 and the Clippers players are carrying the team right now, but when playoffs come they need a more capable coach to stand a good chance.
You're an idiot. Lebron carried that team. This Clippers team is a lot more than one player. The best player on this team doesn't even play in the 4th quarters because of the blowouts.
It's easy to see when one player is carrying the team with a horrible coach. But when ALL the players work together and put up brilliant performances like this, the coach does have something to do with it. There have been plenty of coaches that have had a lot of talent from 1-12 and still couldn't make them play together as a team.
Also, the Clippers are playing great defense and team ball. So do you think they just got together in the summer and watched youtube videos on how to play as a team?
Del Negro knows that CP3 and Chauncy need to be listened too. Too many smart veterans on that team for vinny to screw it up. Grant Hill for ****s sake!
Yeah, this just makes him look more like Mike Brown, a coach listening to his players in terms of tactics. Great coaches like Popovich would never have to seek advices from Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili.
