He doesn't need a 3-point shot for the Sixers to contend but he does need to work on his FTs. I think his poor FT shooting is what stops him from attacking in late game situations, you don't want to put the ball in the hands of a poor FT shooter in a tight game so obviously that's a huge issue. 3-PT shooting isn't that much of an issue because everyone around him can shoot it from distance so he will always have space to drive and make the defense collapse.

I don't know that they shoot that well, though. The Sixers are 23rd in the league in 3P% and 3P makes. Horford, Richardson and Harris aren't shooting that well from deep. Originally Posted by ImKobe
