GOATbrook .. if you dont want him to chuck ... he will still chuck

But on a sidenote, Westbrook is a solid example as well as Rose/KG/CP3.

I've been excited about Kyrie Irving ever since I saw his High School highlights. That kid has a feel for the game that's rare for his age. Handles himself like a vet. Came up clutch at the end of a few games too. A shame he's in Cleveland

Kobe also said he didn't rape anybody.

I don't see any player with that drive in the NBA these days.
I hope not. I see Austin Rivers with that Kobeness at times, but it is too early to say anything on him. But to answer your question, I really don't see anyone out there that compares to Kobe and his ability to overachieve.

The haters can say whatever they want to say about Kobe. But the fact of the matter is, Kobe did not just rest on his talent alone. Kobe's goal wasn't just to to make it in the NBA or to be a decent player. He set the bar at the top. His goal was to be the best. And I really don't see too many players with that, like you said, have that drive or that mentality to be the best like Kobe.

Is Kobe an endangered species? Why not just keep him a sanctuary and let him mate with hundreds of females so he won't be the last of his kind.

...or maybe, we can stuff him like the Duck Billed Platypus and place him in a museum where people from all over the world can see this last of it's kind creature for years to come

Kobe redefined solo-ball. The basketball world is better off with less of his kind.

Rajon Rondo? I don't know many other players who dislocated their elbow in the middle of the game and then came back to lead his team to a win

I'd have to go with Rose. Westbrook has most of the drive to be great but isn't as great of a student of the game. Kobe lives and breathes basketball.
