36-19 at the ASB, barely .500 against the West.
Mark Cuban be like....
'Maybe Chandler can help us'
'Maybe Parsons can help us'
'Maybe Rondo can help us'
'Maybe Amare can help us'
Dont worry Mark, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Keep trying, you'll get it.
Funny. Coming from a Rockets fan who can't even sniff the 2nd round. When was the last time?

Nothing to lose from the Mavs perspective, though it remains to be seen if he has anything left in the tank.

What's funny about Dallas throwing money at every free agent they can in hopes to patch together their roster.
They were WC favorites preseason. Some on here didn't think the rockets would make the playoffs. And even after Dwight/Jones/Beverley missing nearly half the season so far, they're still in 3rd.
That's funny to me.

You didn't answer my question. So I'll ask it again
When was the last time the Rockets made it out of the 1st round? Very simple question (or so I thought)

I thought him going to the Clippers was a good fit. Style wise and personnel wise
But giving Carlisle another big who can do a ton of things offensively can only be a good thing.

I don't really like STAT, but the Mavs desperately needed some depth. Amare might be a shit defender, but at least he'll give you something on offense.
The Mavs have a good record, but they've been really disappointing against the top teams. At least they're consistent though, and beating the teams they should beat. Regardless, I'm keeping my eye on these guys come playoff time. I don't think I'd go as far as to call them a legit contender, but their offense is lethal and they are extremely well coached. They might be able to make a run if they get hot, ala 2011. Dirk obviously isn't the same, but now they have Ellis, Parsons, and they got Chandler back. Also, Rondo brings the same kind of defensive intensity that Kidd brought in 2011, although Kidd was a good 3 pt shooter that year, unlike Rondo.
