Default Raps ring was one of the most memorable in decades

It was like the Pistons ring.

Just a perfect storm of a team taking the chance, going up against a superteam, with great defense and teamwork.

What a great team: Gasol, Kawhi, Siakam, Green even Lowry. So many redemptions, Lowry and Gasol, a new star Siakam, Kawhi redeeming himself after the Spurs debacle. Canada(!) winning at basketball over the ultimate american loafer team.

This raps win almost gets better because Kawhi leaves.

It was a good win but the warriors didn't have there best player. It's only memorable because it was the first time a Canadian team won. Other than that it was kind of weak to be honest

great playoffs but people are only going talk about it in the future when bringing up kawhi or gs. Even if lowry somehow sneaks into the hof which is unlikely, no one cares that much about him. Gasol is likely in for his international stuff but same for him

The memorable part to me was their road leading up to the Finals. The Bucks were favored and up 2-0 then the Raps stormed back and punk'd them. They had a great series with Philly which had an epic finish.

The Finals were a bit of a dud due to injuries.

To me it was one of the funnest teams to watch in a long time. That classic team you don't see much of anymore, ONE true superstar with role players that fit him perfectly. Its too bad Kawhi left but I am a big fan of Pascal and FVV. For sure did not see Pascal breaking out like he did but I have paid attention to VanVleet since his rookie year. Great talent who gets better every year.

You actually believe you are an unbiased fan with the way you act on here? You’re just trolling from the Lebron hating side like 60% of the time.

The playoffs had the usual couple good series but nothing special.

I doubt people gonna be making a big deal out of the blazers getting swept or a finals without one of the teams best players and that the same teams #3 tearing his ACL. Raptors/Bucks was....ok I guess?

I don’t know that any playoffs has ever been considered great for a compelling second round and subpar or shit first and third with a lackluster injury riddled finals.

You don’t come out of a playoff like that even having any answers. Beating the real warriors would be incredible.

But it just didn’t happen because the real warriors didn’t exist.

You only get so much out of that. I’m sure the Suns would feel great with a title. But you get it with Jordan out and Horace going down too trying to help Pippen force a game 7 you just arent EVER gonna get the same credit most champs get let alone credit for beating the real Bulls.

Nothing memorable about beating an injured team.

eh..... pistons stood up and beat favorites. in 5.

Raps were on their way to a game 7 before klay got hurt in the 2nd half of game 6.

And they subsequently couldve been subject to a splash bros tidal wave in the league winner...

Yeh Warriors missing their best player.

Does take some shine off it, unfortunately.

    No, it is not.

If the Warriors were in good health it would have been. No one is talking about the Raptors rn, as you can see.

It was a good finals, but not the same as 7 game Cavs/Warriors or Spurs/Warriors from last seven years. And it's no 2011, since the Warriors weren't healthy.
