The way he holds the ball and the flick of the wrist when throwing it is really impressive and showing a lot of power behind it. All the links posted here are mostly those usual one-handed throws which anyone of us can probably do but Lebron throws it so effortlessly like he's throwing a small handball.

I never let myself leave the gym until I hit at least one underhanded shot from the opposite free throw line. Once you figure out the distance and get enough arc on it, it's not as hard a shot as it looks. Sure Bron has been practicing that shot since he was in at least middle school.

His is a bit of a heave though, less form.

This is the way I would be able to throw a basketball atleast somewhere close to the basket aswell as any other average Joe. The way Lebron throws it, not even close and not even if I would be able to palm the ball....you need to have really powerfull arms to throw it that far that way.

I used to do this in practice.

That was the last 10 mins of practice every day. Stand on the opposite baseline and chuck one handed shots at the goal.

Sometimes they went in, sometimes they didnt.

Good use of practice.
