That was a reasonable deal. Why is everyone going crazy ?
And WTF is this "We should have let him walk" talk ? We're trying to win a championship here ...
I'll say it again : Varejao is the most underrated player in the league. Even Cavs fans underrate him. WTF ?
He deserves every dollar of this new deal. He's a great rebounder. He's a great defender. He's one of the best pick&roll defenders in the league. He's probably the best charge-taker in the league. He has nice chemistry with LeBron. He's a great cutting big man. Adequate pick&roll player. And his jumper is improving. Well, he'll never be a good jumpshooter but at least he's working on it and it could become a somewhat OK weapon.
Did everyone forget how bad we played when he was holding out ?
