In 2016 Finals, Lebron averaged 24 ppg and 6 TO through 4 games
.
Then he won the last 3 games by averaging 36 ppg and 3 TO, just like MJ did in the entire 91-93' Finals.
So Lebron needed to turn into Jordan to win..
His rebounds and assists were constant throughout the series, whereas his ppg and turnovers were the difference between winning and losing.

Lebron's 27/10/7 includes 4.5 turnovers compared to Jordan's 2.8, which cancels out Lebron's 1 APG advantage..
So the comparison comes down to Jordan's 6 points on better efficiency versus Lebron's 4 defensive rebounds..
Obviously, Jordan wins, since Lebron would be on a TOTALLY different level if he averaged 6 more points on better efficiency.. Can you imagine that?.. Keep dreaming bud

LeBrons 6 best Finals vs Jordans 6 best Finals
29/10/7 >> 33/6/6

First of all, never forget 2011 - the fact that Lebron was CAPABLE of that means that he could never match Jordan.. If Dirk can do that to him, than many guys could to that, let alone mj.
And again - Lebron's 29/10/7 includes 4.5 turnovers compared to Jordan's 2.8, which cancels out Lebron's 1 APG advantage..

4 rebounds and 1 assist > 4 more points
Noone would take a 10/0/0 player over a 0/10/4 player

Re: In 2016 Finals, Lebron averaged 24 ppg and 6 TO through 4 games
LeBrons 6 best Finals are better than Jordans 6 best Finals
Therefore Jordan is NOT the GOAT Finals performer
Another myth debunked

4 defensive rebounds, 1 assist, 1.5 more turnovers
VERSUS
4 more points, better efficiency (winner)

If Dirk can do that to him, than many guys could to that, let alone mj.. Lebron also shrank in 2010 ECSF, so he's simply susceptible to mental intimidation and breakdown.
Also, Lebron's 2007 Finals was a joke too - when Jordan was that age, he was setting the all-time playoff scoring record against championship teams and #1 defenses (86' Celtics), while Lebron was wetting the bed for 22 ppg on 36%

Cool, so you admit LeBron's 6 best Finals are > Jordan's 6 Best Finals?

Jordan won all 6 with better stats, so no

How is 33/6/6 better than 29/10/7?
Would you take a 20/4/4 player over a 18/8/7 player? Of course not.
Therefore LeBrons stats > Jordans

Many guys played better against the same Spurs team:
Lebron vs. Spurs in 2007 Finals: 22 ppg on 35%
Melo vs. Spurs in 2007 1st Rd: 27 ppg on 48%
Dirk vs. Spurs in 2007.. WCF: 27 ppg on 53%
Kobe vs. Spurs in 2008.. WCF: 29 ppg on 53%
The reason for Lebron's worse efficiency was JUMPSHOOTING EFFICIENCY:
....................... midrange jumpshot FG%..... 3-point jumpshot FG%..... Jumpshot proportion of offense
Lebron 2007 Finals .............14.8........................... 20.0............................... 52.2
Dirk 2006 WCF ..................41.3........................... 50.0 .............................. 61.2
Melo 2007 1st Rd ...............37.5........................... 50.0 .............................. 59.1
Kobe 2008 WCF .................50.0........................... 33.3............................... 63.3
Everyone shot well on jumpers against the Spurs, EXCEPT Lebron - the so the Spurs jumpshooting defense clearly wasn't prohibitive - Lebron just can't shoot.

Horseshit - Lebron's defense was very good the first 2 games against Kawhi (9 ppg on 43%), and not surprisingly, the Heat were tied 1-1... They were competitive with the Spurs, just like OKC and Dallas were, who held Kawhi to 12 ppg on 45%.
But then Lebron gave up in Game 3, because he's weak with no perseverance - Kawhi proceeded to run roughshod the last 3 games for 24 ppg on 69% - this is the biggest reason the series changed - that's a 15 point swing.
Better defense on Kawhi would've kept the games closer, and the Heat could've WON the series if Lebron had more offensive aggression - he only averaged 17 shot attempts, which was HALF the attempts he took in the 2015 Finals when he won 2 games with a worse supporting cast (the injured Cavs) against a better team (Warriors).
Obviously, if Lebron plays good defense on Kawhi AND doubles his shot attempts to 33 per game like the 2015 Finals, the Heat would've won.

Jordan's first 3 rings required 30% more scoring than Lebron's 3 rings, while still getting equal or greater assists - so the only category where Lebron leads is defensive rebounds:
PLAYOFFS PER GAME THRU 31 YEARS OLD
Jordan:. 34.7 ppg.. 6.7 rpg.. 6.6 apg.. 2.3 spg.. 1.0 bpg.. 50.1 fg.. 58.1 ts.. 119 ortg.. 29.6 PER
Lebron:. 28.0 ppg.. 8.8 rpg.. 6.8 apg.. 1.8 spg.. 0.9 bpg.. 47.8 fg.. 56.7 ts.. 115 ortg.. 27.7 PER
PLAYOFFS PER 100 POSSESSIONS THRU 31 YEARS OLD
Jordan:I 43.9 pts..N 8.5 reb.. 8.4 ast.. 4.2 tov.. 2.9 stl.. 1.2 blk.. 50.1 fg.. 58.1 ts.. 119 ortg.. 29.6 PER
Lebron:. 36.4 pts.. 11.5 reb.. 8.8 ast.. 4.6 tov.. 2.3 stl.. 1.2 blk.. 47.8 fg.. 56.7 ts.. 115 ortg.. 27.7 PER
FINALS PER GAME THRU 31 YEARS OLD:
Jordan Finals:. 36.3 ppg.. 6.6 rpg.. 7.9 apg.. 2.7 tov.. 2.0 spg.. 0.8 bpg.. 52.6 fg
Lebron Finals:. 27.0 ppg.. 9.9 rpg.. 7.2 apg.. 4.0 tov.. 1.9 spg.. 0.8 bpg.. 45.4 fg
How could Lebron have a weaker supporting cast when Jordan was required to score 30% more for his rings with equal assists?...

Lebron admitted he is chasing the ghost in Chicago.
If Lebron can admit it, why can't you?
