I have to go with Kyrie because of the arsenal he brought tonight. He scored those points in different fashions.

He has really matured as a player. He is just too damn clutch.

    Kyrie.

Tonight's game was the most points scored by a Cav in a regular season game, previous holder, LeBron

He beat LeBron's record right in front of him, ALPHA

The way he can split perimeter defenders is unreal. The way he gets to the basket weaving in between and among the trees is unreal. The way he finishes with his off hand just as well or seemingly better than his dominant hand is unreal. It's like he can slice the defense to pieces any time he wants.

Then if he gets a hot hand from the perimeter? Game over, how do you stop him!? He beat a team tonight all by himself that was playing great TEAM BALL.

Hero ball is definitely not dead so long as Kyrie is in the league. Some people shit on that word but damn, when a superstar scorer is on fire there's just nothing you can do. It's like watching glimpses of prime Kobe and Jordan when you see a player go off like that taking fearless shots.

Plus Lebron's 61 was against a top 5 defense and he didn't need overtime.

Bobcats were a top 5 d at the time and lebron didnt need overtime; but as a lebron fan kyries game was just a bit more special. Lebron hit big shot after shot as well in that game but kyries 3 to send the cavs to OT was bigger.
So im going with kyrie, barely but lebron will always be remembered for his 61 being more than kyries.

    Lebrons 61.

If kobes 81>>>>61 according to kobe stans then 61>>>>>>57 am i right?

Not to mention lebron had control over the game and lead a group of scrubs through to the win. Without lebron on the cavs, they would have lost since no one could hit the clutch shots.

Against the best defense too; prime tayshaun prince, a very good ben wallace, and still had rasheed wallace and antionio m.

Kyrie easily. Reminded me of a vintage Kobe game. He hit so many clutch shots.

LeBald got to 61 by playing in garbage time. It was an embarrassment.

    Spurs or bobcats, hmmm lol

If you consider that a guy playing bran's position dropped more points against the Bobcats a few weeks earlier, the decision becomes even easier

Bran's was at home, while Kyrie's was on the road against the toughest team in the league, breaking an all time record for an opponent in their building; also tying the all time record overall for an opponent

Irving. But lets not act the OP didn't start watching current basketball again once LeBron came back. From 2010-2014 he was beating off to grainy Wilt highlights on a dusty projector in his stepdad's basemment.
