They won 5 titles and made it to 7 finals in the last 10 years he was healthy. Where are great free agents gonna fit into that mix?

Wasn't just the players, Dr. Buss pretty much made that organization understand how important it was to win and to be successful. He helped them develop a winning culture year after year until it was normal to say losing is unacceptable. Honestly, everything went to shit after the Chris Paul deal. Odom left, Dwight and Pau ended up leaving, Nash ended up being injured every year, and important role players ended up leaving while the Lakers couldn't pick a damn coach to stick with.

Why didn't Dwight return? Why didn't Nash bother trying to return? Why didn't Lebron or Carmelo even bother making Los Angeles a destination this past offseason?
