These 2nd year coaches who failed to at least make it to the playoffs will be in a lot of pressure to prove they are good enough and they must win early.

1. Jason Kidd looked OK in with Deron Williams and Brandon Knight but it went downhill fast for him eversince the Bucks traded Knight for MCW.

2. Fred Hoiberg. Paxson fired Thibs and retained almost everybody last showed that he put a ton of blame on Tom and right after they lost the "muscle memory" to play defense, they started losing badly. Enter strong willed Rondo and a HOF'er Wade, what happens when these two disagrees with Fred's philosophies? Butler alreay hinted that Hoiberg's passive style was not working, that he needs to coach "harder". Huh.

3. Alvin Gentry. Okay, there were injuries, but failing to maximize the ability of arguably the top 3 NBA player in the league just seems very underwhelming IMO.

4. Quin Snyder. Utah kept thinking wait next year...every summer. Let's just rebuild, stack with young talented players and oh BTW, retain and pay Gordon and Favors a lot of money..relatively anyway. kept knocking at the door and yet.... even with the rash of injuries of Memphis, Dallas, Clippers etc.
