But keep ignoring these facts - the result will be you needing new excuses to explain his long-ass career with so few rings... True greats like MJ and Bird won rings in far less years because their games fit with any teammate or system, thus allowing higher ceilings and better teams in general.

2008: 291 assisted, 184 unassisted: 61%, which isn't 100% accurate since Pau only joined the Lakers during the season and played 27 games for Memphis.
2009: 340 assisted, 252 unassisted: 57%
2010: 257 assisted, 195 unassisted: 57%
2011: 341 assisted, 252 unassisted: 58%

Anthony Davis this year:
144 assisted, 78 unassisted: 65%
