I mean he's not a great fadeaway or hook shot player, but he can quickly spin right or left and use his body to shield the defender for a layup. Effective. Still awkward looking though if he does try to be a traditional big man in the post.

I hope his improvement is legit this time around. As anyone can see on his bball ref page, his "improved jumpshot" starts sucking in the playoffs, just like his post-up game (though he used it to great effect vs OKC).

post something about this season. lebron has surpassed kobe's scoring in the post in last season in nearly half the games.
both lebron and melo are more dangerous but their moves don't look as good as kobe.
Kobe in the post last season: 75 FG made at 1.12 Pts per pos
Lebron this season with so many games left: 81 FG made at 1.14 pts per pos

Looks like lebron who is a poor post player9according to guys like you) has done better than kobe did for whole of his last season in way lesser games. as you get older you move more towards the post and lebron is doing the same.
People must also remember that kobe was trying to score as many as he could last season and had a pretty good season scoring wise last season.
