    Default LeBron in the post...

    Couper Moorhead ‏@CoupNBA 7m
If LeBron sustains, he'll be the only player other than Dirk to score over 1.1 points-per-post-up since 04-05 (200+ poss). Via Synergy.

I mean he's not a great fadeaway or hook shot player, but he can quickly spin right or left and use his body to shield the defender for a layup. Effective. Still awkward looking though if he does try to be a traditional big man in the post.

anyone who doesn't think that melo and lebron are the best post players(among perimeter players) in the league is an idiot. Durant isn't even close to those 2.

His fadeaway has been money this year.

I hope his improvement is legit this time around. As anyone can see on his bball ref page, his "improved jumpshot" starts sucking in the playoffs, just like his post-up game (though he used it to great effect vs OKC).

Lebron this season with so many games left: 81 FG made at 1.14 pts per pos

Looks like lebron who is a poor post player9according to guys like you) has done better than kobe did for whole of his last season in way lesser games. as you get older you move more towards the post and lebron is doing the same.
People must also remember that kobe was trying to score as many as he could last season and had a pretty good season scoring wise last season.
