Shaquille O Neal is the number 1 guy I'd build around. If all 3 guys came out the same draft you have a guy that's truly dominant physically.

If I were to draft them, from the beginning of their careers, and I had a suckass lottery quality team, I'd pick LBJ or Shaq. They would help my team return to prominence faster than Duncan, even though he's almost as good as either LBJ or Shaq. LBJ & Shaq are once in a generation type of talent, enough to distort other teams' defenses into pretzels, allowing the other players on my team to flourish easier.

But if I had a strong front office and a team loaded with veterans, I'd go with Duncan. He would push my team over the top quicker than either LBJ or Shaq and win a championship earlier.
